A transition to clean energy means the end of oil as this resource that the US fights wars for. The US corporate fortress will have to unroll petrodollar, the beating heart of its hegemony. No one surrenders that kind of power voluntarily. That's the crux of the problem, the future is moving fast, the current masters don't have the plan for it and they are dragging us all down to save the golden goose.
